Waterway Point mall has a lot of varieties of restaurants to try and because I stay nearby there so I have already tried many of them.
This time I will review about Taiwanese cuisine restaurant named Isshin Machi.
After going through all menu, I ordered Sunrise Braised Meat Rice ($10) and Noodles (Guan Miao Noodles) with Pork Chop and Pickled Vegetables ($10.50).
At first I didn’t notice that Sunrise Braised Meat Rice had two different eggs: Sunny Side Up and Braised Boiled Egg. Only until I received the food and noticed it, so I ate two eggs on the same day😅.
Sunrise Braised Meat Rice’s braised meat was nice and overall taste was pretty decent.
Since I chose Guan Miao Noodles for Noodles with Pork Chop and Pickled Vegetables dish, I had to pay extra $1, so $10.50 was the inclusive of this Guan Miao Noodles.
If I understand correctly, Guan Miao Noodles is a type of noodles that comes from Tainan.
This Guan Miao Noodles appearance is wider than normal noodles and the texture is also different. It’s unique and nice.
Pork Chop is also tender. Pickled Vegetables dish makes this overall taste more unique and richer.
Frankly speaking, I don’t have any complaints about these dishes taste. It’s just with that price, both of the dishes portion are way too small.
I guarantee you will still feel hungry after eating it (assumed one person only eating one dish).
So if I compare the price and portion, it’s quite expensive to be honest.
