Sengkang, Are You Ready? A Pasar Malam Has Landed!
Good news, Sengkang folks! From now until 30 March 2025, a Night Bazaar (Pasar Malam) is happening right next to Sengkang MRT station. If you love street food, this is your chance to feast without traveling too far!
Now, it might not be as massive as the Tampines Pasar Malam, but trust me—there are still tons of delicious treats to satisfy your cravings.
Food, Food, and More Food!
The bazaar has a Ramadhan-themed setup, which adds to the festive vibe, but not all stalls here are Halal—so do check before ordering. You’ll find a mix of Halal and non-Halal food vendors, so there’s something for everyone.
What We Tried
My dear and I sampled three items, and here’s the verdict:
1️⃣ Bomboloni (3 for $3) – The Bakso Safirah
My dear went for Durian, Strawberry, and Tiramisu flavors. These fluffy, cream-filled doughnuts weren’t overly sweet—just the right balance of soft and satisfying! The stall also sells various kueh, perfect for breaking fast in the evening.
2️⃣ Shrimp Phad Thai ($7) – Here Thai Food
This one hit the spot! The Phad Thai was cooked just right, not too soggy or dry, and the shrimp was fresh and juicy. Portion-wise, we wished there was a bit more, but flavor-wise—thumbs up!
3️⃣ Lemongrass Lemon Tea ($3.50) – Bung! Lemon Tea
Super refreshing! The mix of lemongrass and lemon made this drink the perfect thirst quencher. For $3.50, it’s a treat we’d happily sip on again.
Final Thoughts
We had a great time snacking and exploring at the Sengkang Pasar Malam. If you’re in the area, definitely drop by before it’s gone on 30 March!
