Today I will review another “long queue” food stall that is located inside Hong Lim Complex (same floor level with Outram Park Fried Kway Teow Mee).
This food stall name is Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff.
From the signboard, they mentioned Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff has been established from 1952 until now. Very cool right?
I decided to try this curry puff because I saw a lot of people queue to buy this curry puff. My thought is: nothing will go wrong with food that have many people queue 😂.
Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff is selling handmade curry puff with three different toppings such as Chicken, Sardine and Otah. For Chicken and Sardine, they also add Potato and Egg.
I mentioned handmade because I saw it with my own eyes, they made it from scratch inside this stall. So you may expect the freshness of the ingredients and the crispiness of the curry puff skin plus the warmness toppings inside this curry puff.
They also give the toppings quantity generously. It’s a lot and this curry puff is quite big.
I tried Chicken and Sardine. Both are equally nice but since I personally like chicken than sardine, so I enjoy chicken topping more.
I will definitely recommend you to try these curry puff from Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff.
Oh ya one more thing: other than having long queue, you may expect to wait for them to finish frying the curry puff if no more curry puff is left which is taking quite a long time. So if you are rushing and unlucky due to no more curry puff, I suggest you to try it next time 😉.
