Last week I accidentally found one place selling delicious Dim Sum around Kovan area named Traditional Home-Made Pau.
Fyi, you can go to Traditional Home-Made Pau by walking around 10 minutes from Kovan MRT station. To make it easier for you, this place is located opposite from famous Ponggol Nasi Lemak. I believe now you can roughly know where is this place located.
Among Traditional Home-Made Pau menu, I try their Fan Choy, Big Pau, Siew Mai and Yam Pau.
Fan Choy is a dish that normally you can find in Dim Sum place which consists of rice that is steamed with pork char siew and hard boiled egg. This Fan Choy has extraordinary taste. It’s not dry, the char siew is juicy and it’s very very tasty beyond my expectation. This is a must order dish when you visit this place.
Big Pau is a big version of Pau that consists of pork minced meat and egg. This Big Pau is also nice and the taste can compete with famous Big Pau shop in Singapore.
Siew Mai is also not bad, but next time instead of buying Siew Mai again, I will try another dish.
Yam Pau is also worth to try. This Yam Pau is soft, not sweet and the yam filling is a lot. It’s yummy.
I will definitely visit Traditional Home-Made Pau again in near future.
