Looking for an interesting events in Singapore? I have a good suggestion for you.
You may visit Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest to see Avatar: The Experience event from now until 31 March 2023 from 9AM – 9PM.
Avatar: The Experience set a Cloud Forest with an iconic vision of waterfalls, spiraling walkways and a unique architectural green house, Avatar: The Experience invites guests to connect with the alien world of Pandora, its bioluminescent environments, mystical creatures, flora and the captivating culture of its indigenous people “the Na’vi”.
Fyi, this cool event is curated by Cityneon Group.
I have been here recently and was amazed with their cool installation and decoration.
Once you step inside Cloud Forest, you will be transported to Pandora “the moon – Na’vi and mystical creatures home” and immediately see the mystical Mountain Banshee stand on the giant waterfall on the right side and majestic stone on the left side.
Along the way inside into deep mystical forest, you will encounter many cool flora and fauna such as Prolemuris having fun collecting fruits, Scorpion Thistle, Fiddleheads and many more.
Please be careful because Viperwolf will be waiting for you in the middle of the forest.
After successfully escaping from Viperwolf, you have an option to transform yourself to become Na’vi by entering special device named “Avatarize Yourself”.
In order to become Na’vi, you need to stand inside the device. The device will snap your face picture and will transform you to become Na’vi. At the end of the process, you can keep your face version of Na’vi picture by scanning the QR code on your phone device and downloading the picture into your phone.
Honestly, this Avatarize Yourself is super fun and funny. I see a lot of kids and adults were enjoying themself and kept laughing after seeing their transformed pictures.
After finishing the transformation, you will be safer walking inside the forest and you will see “Sacred Space” the lichen plant to connect with the environment through the glow of bioluminescence.
In order to activate it, you need to hover your hand above the left of lichen plant to activate their connective energy and after few seconds, you will see bioluminescent glow spread throughout the foliage wall.
It is really amazing to see how one touch can activate the forest energy. It’s trully a Sacred Space.
You will also meet gigantic Hammerhead Titanothere standing in the middle of the deep forest and friendly Na’vi family, father and his son are trying to catch baby Banshee while his mother and her baby are watching them from afar.
You will also have a chance to visit Fire Pod to play with your own Na’vi shadow through a series of interactive moments, interact with Woodsprites and play with fire embers.
Can you imagine, you can see your own shadow with Na’vi tails 😂.
After that, you can go up to witness how magnificent of the full scale Banshee animatronic performance with baby Banshee with your own eyes.
And finally… it’s time for the moment that you are waiting for: fly a Banshee yourself while singing “I believe I can fly” silently and after going down, you will meet Inu “the latest discovery from Pandora oceans”.
The last adventures as Na’vi, you will see amazing instagramable views of various Pandora creatures and Tree Souls.
As a bonus (if you are lucky enough), you may encounter super cute baby Viperwolf that can move around and you can take a picture together.
Overall I am really amazed with Gardens by the Bay management to be able to create Pandora with all the majestic creatures inside.
You will not regret visiting Avatar: The Experience. Other than interesting things that I captured on these pictures, there are still plenty interesting things waiting for you to be enjoyed inside this magnificent Pandora.
