During our exploration of Glodok area in my last trip to Jakarta, I coincidentally passed by one seller at the road side selling Bak Chang named Bacang Y2 (Yusi dan Yen2) Pancoran Glodok.
Although on that day was not Bak Chang day, I still bought it because I liked Bak Chang so much especially the one with glutinous rice one.
The other good thing eating Bak Chang in normal day is that they don’t mark up the price. Btw it’s understandable because most of us only eat bak chang during Bak Chang day.
I bought one piece of Bak Chang Isi Komplit (Complete filling) to take away as there was no table / chair to eat there.
Honestly I forgot the exact price of this Bak Chang but what I can say is that the price was quite okay.
My dear and I quite liked this Bak Chang. Although the one that I bought was not a glutinous rice one, but it was still nice for me.
The pork was nice and tender. The salted egg was also nice.
I know that this is not the best Bak Chang that I have ever tried in my whole life, but this is a decent Bak Chang to eat daily.
