Today I will share with you about one legendary noodle shop named Bakmi Aboen located at Pasar Baru, Jakarta that has been existing since 1962 until now. Amazing right?

Bakmi Aboen was famous for their pork noodles, so my dear and I tried their Bakmi Special Babi and chose normal type of noodles (bakmie), Bakso Sapi kuah (Meatballs Soup) and hot tea.

They have five types of noodles to choose: Normal Bakmie, Bakmie Lebar (Ban Mian), Kwetiau (Kway Teow), Bihun (Bee Hoon) or Locupan (Lao Shu Fen).

Bakmi Special Babi consists of dry noodles with few toppings, such as charsiew, roasted pork, mushrooms, braised chicken cube and green vegetables.

These toppings portions are quite a lot, so the moment you eat, you would feel pleased because of the generous meat toppings and delicious taste.

The noodles are also nicely cooked.

Bakso Sapi Kuah consists of five pieces of meatballs inside a bowl of soup.
These meatballs are nice, tender and tasty.
Overall, these dishes are delicious indeed. No wonder they can survive until now.
So if you are visiting Jakarta, do try Bakmi Aboen because other than delicious taste of noodle, there are also a lot of delicious food nearby.
