Bakmi Ernie

Happy Sunday for all my fabulous readers. Since last week I went to Indonesia (to be exact is Jakarta), I will keep sharing with you delicious Jakarta food that I had for a while. Hopefully you would drool and perhaps because of this, you would be interested to travel to Jakarta 😉.

For today’s article, I will share with you one of my family favourite noodle shop named Bakmi Ernie. 

The advantage of staying at Jakarta is without Grab application, some of the food shop / restaurants would still able to deliver the food to our home because they have their own staff to deliver.  Some are free of charge and some need to pay extra money. For Bakmie Ernie is free of charge but sometimes we give them gratuity.

Bakmi Erni signature noodle is either Bakmie Ayam (Chicken Noodle) or Bakmie Babi (Pork Noodle). 

For my family, we prefer Bakmie Ayam because they are using tender and quite big size chicken cube. 

These are dry type noodle (not so dry because they pour special ingredients gravy into the noodle) and it comes with chilli sauce and separate soup.

I called Bakmi Ernie phone number and ordered one Bakmie Ayam to deliver to my place.

So this is Bakmi Ernie’s Bakmie Ayam. 

They put generous chicken cube and quite a lot of gravy ingredients that will make this noodle tastier.

The noodle itself is different with Singapore version. It’s chewier. 

Overall, I am fond of this Bakmie Ayam and this is my must have noodle whenever I go to Jakarta.
