Do you remember in the previous post I mentioned that during my exploration at Telok Ayer MRT area, most of the time I ended up into a not-so-affordable restaurant?
Today I will share one of those restaurant, named Birds Of A Feather.
I can say that Birds Of A Feather is an elegant restaurant and bar that is located around Amoy Street.
Housed in two conservation shophouses, it evokes the greenery of Chengdu and its laid back lifestyle as well as its easy co-mingling of modern and historical, East and West. The contemporary Western cuisine served has a pronounced Sichuan influence.
You can see that inside this restaurant has big tree and restaurant interior is very classy.
My friend and I tried Oriental Bolognaise ($26) and Strange Flavour Prawn ($42). They also served free of charge warm water.
Oriental Bolognaise is a dish that is made from Capellini Pasta, Oriental Pork Ragout, Sakura Ebi, Onsen Egg and a hint of Spiciness.
Although I could sense Mala spice inside Oriental Bolognaise (I am not so fond of Mala spice), the overall taste was pretty delicious.
Strange Flavour Prawn is made from Grilled Tiger Prawn, Sichuan Strange Flavour Sauce, Green Papaya and Peanut.
The Grilled Tiger Prawn were big, fresh and crunchy. This Strange Flavour Prawn dish was a unique dish and the prawn that absorbed strange flavour sauce amazingly tasted very nice.
Overall we had a great experience having lunch at Birds Of A Feather.
