Since I had been quite frequently going to Chinatown Complex Food Centre, I had to find interesting looking food stall that I haven’t tried before to share with you all.
After walking around, I landed in front of Chinatown Sun Seng stall and randomly picked Fried Beef Hor Fun ($6) for my lunch meal.
Later, I found out that Chinatown Sun Seng is actually famous for their fish dishes made from rainbow trout 😅. But, never mind as I have already ordered Fried Beef Hor Fun.
Fyi, Chinatown Sun Seng started their business back from 1940s on Mosque Street. On that time, the seller cooked in front of seated customers.
Fried Beef Hor Fun portion looked quite small.
Honestly as an Indonesian, I felt that this fried hor fun was lack of taste, but I could still appreciate this dish.
The beef was also tender.
I would try their fish dishes next time because from what I have observed during the meal, it seemed that many people ordered one fish dish and shared it among of them.
