I recently heard the news in Singapore: Bake Cheese Tart at Takashimaya Orchard will be closing down and Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku will be opened on 30 November 2019.
I’m a bit shocked because that Cheese Tart is very delicious (and used to have a very long queue). Perhaps it’s because nowadays people is more into new instagrammable food to fill in their insta page / story. You can see every time the new food & beverage (f&b) shop with instagrammable food / drink / decoration open up, the shop will be very crowded and have a long queue.
But on the other hand, I’m also happy that Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku is decided to open up their shop in Singapore.
The first time I tried Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku at Japan Food Matsuri, I fell in love with this Croquant Chou.
Croquant Chou is coated with almonds, sugar and white egg and the custard is made from fine milk.
They are also freshly baked right in front of you.
It’s extremely crunchy outside with super yummy custard inside.
For $2.8, I believe Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku will become a new hit in town.
Will I go there again? Yes. Absolutely yes.
