Johor Bahru is one of the best spot for short getaway destination if you are staying in Singapore.
Other than because of quite accessible (can take bus), the food is also tasty and some of the food can’t totally be found in Singapore.
Today’s article is one of the best example of the unique food that I tried at Roast & Coffee (R&C) – Retro Garden 1968’s restaurant.
Roast & Coffee (R&C) – Retro Garden 1968’s restaurant is located near Hiap Joo Bakery and this restaurant is the best spot restaurant for you to relax while waiting for Hiap Joo Bakery’s banana cake and breads.
I tried Curry Lava Egg Toast (RM 5.90) and Milo 1968 (RM 6.90).
Curry Lava Egg Toast consists of a toast with half boiled egg and abundant curry gravy. They totally soak the toast into the curry gravy.
Perhaps from the appearance of this Curry Lava Egg Toast is not so appealing and the combination sounds a bit weird but do trust me because your mindset will totally be changed once you try it.
The toast is still crunchy, the egg is creamy and the curry is tasty. Once you mix those three elements together, it will produce a super delicious dish.
This Curry Lava Egg Toast has an incredible tasty taste that you will definitely not want to miss this dish while you are visiting Roast & Coffee (R&C) restaurant.
Milo 1968 has interesting looks that makes me really want to try.
It is categorized as Coconut Ho Kar Sai drink, this Milo 1968 seems like a Taiping old school beverage and combined Milo with coffee.
Milo 1968 is also very very nice. It will refresh your body.
Overall I was really satisfied trying these meal and drink. You should try it.
