I recently discovered that my Indonesian taste buds can appreciate Turkish cuisine very well, and I’ve fallen in love with it.
Because of that, my dear and I set out to find delicious Turkish food and ended up at Donergy Turkish Kebab.
Located inside Millenia Walk Mall, Donergy Turkish Kebab offers a wide variety of interesting Turkish dishes, making it hard for us to decide what to order.
Finally, we made up our minds and ordered the Mix Tombik ($12), Mix Kebab with Rice ($16), and Turkish Ayran ($4).
The Tombik is an in-house-made pita bread stuffed with freshly chopped salad, a selection of meats, and sauce. We chose the mix: chicken and beef.
Initially, we were torn between ordering a kebab or a tombik, but we decided to be adventurous and try the tombik. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The pita bread is crunchy, and the meat is tender and tasty.
The fresh salad and the sauce make the Tombik incredibly delicious.
The Mix Kebab with Rice includes rice topped with the same ingredients as the Tombik, minus the pita bread.
Being accustomed to eating rice, we enjoyed this dish as well, although the rice isn’t as crunchy as the Tombik.
Turkish Ayran is a traditional Turkish beverage made of cold savory yogurt mixed with herbs. It was served in an interesting Turkish mug that piqued our curiosity.
After one sip, we were blown away by its delicious taste.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our lunch at Donergy Turkish Kebab.
