I recently explored Kovan deeper and found one hidden gem old school Western food stall named Eddy Western Delight.
Eddy Western Delight is selling wide range of Western food such as Chicken Cutlet, Chicken Chop, Beef Steak, Sausage Egg, Lamb Chop, Pork Chop, Fried Rice, Fish&Chip, Chicken Wing and this food stall is running by one old uncle and old auntie.
Honestly I had been contemplating whether I should share with you all or not because I worried it would have long queue if more people knew 😁.
But never mind, I wish more people could support old uncle and old auntie behind Eddy Western Delight. This stall is a bit hidden so many people would not be aware of this place.
I went there few times and bought my dinner from Eddy Western Delight and I had been ordering their secret menu “Chicken Chop Fried Rice”.
I called it secret menu because this Chicken Chop Fried Rice was not included in the menu. I was not sure why it wasn’t in the menu, but let me warned you first. Since this one was a secret menu, the price was also more expensive ($7.50) compared with other fried rice types that usually was in the menu (Chicken Cutlet Fried Rice $6, Fish Fried Rice $6, Pork Chop Fried Rice $6.50 and Fried Rice without toppings $4).
I got a feeling the uncle was really trying his best, so I didn’t choose Chicken Chop Fried Rice. He said this one was expensive and he kept confirming with me whether I really wanted to order that or not. Despite that, I still insisted to order that and in the end he told me the reason for the expensive price, which was because the chicken chop that he gave was in big size.
I liked this uncle gesture and this Chicken Chop Fried Rice was really big. The fried rice was super a lot and chicken chop was very big.
Even for me with big appetite was feeling super full and almost couldn’t finished it. In fact, it could be eaten for two people 😂.
They also put quite a lot of sauce on top of this Chicken Chop Fried Rice.
This is the most delicious old school Chicken Chop Fried Rice that I have ever tried in Singapore. I really recommend you to try it.
