This place name is Ellie Donat.
Ellie Donat is selling Donat Kentang (Potato Donut) with three different flavours: snow sugar, chocolate and cheese.
Snow Sugar Potato Donut is the best selling here. So for the first timers, please remember to order snow sugar one.
Fyi, Ellie Donat makes the donut from the scratch. The auntie is in charge of making the dough while the uncle is frying the dough. Sometimes auntie helps to fry the dough especially when uncle is busy putting snow sugar into the donut. One piece of Donat Kentang cost 9.000 rupiah (around 90 cents Singapore).
In order to try this delicious donut, you need to either lucky or coming here super early or willing to wait few hours to get this donut.
I was waiting around 2 hours for my turn to collect the donut. It’s quite slow but understandable as they made this donut from scratch on the spot.
I like this donut a lot. It’s delicious. A bit crispy outside and soft inside.
One more thing, this old school traditional potato donut taste can compete with famous donut place in Jakarta.
