I recently visited SMU university to explore a new place for my weekday lunch.
After walking around there, I decided to have lunch at Fortune In Your Mouth which was located inside Koufu SMU.
Fortune In Your Mouth is selling Taiwanese street food and cuisine.
I tried Taiwanese Hotplate (Lao Taipei Hotplate) Grilled Chicken Chop ($7.80).
This Taiwanese Hotplate (Lao Taipei Hotplate) Grilled Chicken Chop also comes with noodles and egg with two different sauce options: mushroom or black pepper sauce.
Based on the seller, black pepper sauce is a traditional sauce option to go with this grilled chicken chop noodles, so I chose that one.
They served this dish in a hot condition and the noodles indeed had different texture with the noodles that wasn’t cooked inside hotplate.
The black pepper chicken sauce was tasty and tender.
The portion was also big. I am quite pleased with this dish. I guess many students like this dish.
