Looking for a delicious, healthier choice and instagramable looking dish along Mohamed Sultan Road?
You may try to visit Hovoh Cafe.
Among other restaurants along Mohamed Sultan Road, Hovoh Cafe can be considered as a quite newly open cafe, to be exact is a newly hidden cafe because of the position of this cafe that hardly get noticed.
I went to Hovoh Cafe to have my lunch and I saw they were having three different types of power lunch menu such as Fish Curry ($16.80), Pork Curry ($14.80) and Surf & Turf ($15.80).
Fyi, power lunch is a healthier choice of food because of the ingredients inside the dish.
I ordered Surf & Turf because it had more varieties toppings compared with the two other power lunch menu.
Surf & Turf had grilled chicken slices, two pieces of ebi tempura, edamame, egg, sweet corn, white brown rice, curry sauce and cabbage salad.
For $15.80, I also got one complementary drink that I could choose from Strawberry Fizz, Cucumber Lime Soda, Passion Fruit Lemonade or Coco Lychee.
I chose Coco Lychee.
Although they spent sometimes to serve Surf & Turf, it could be compromised because all toppings seemed very fresh and white brown rice served in hot conditions.
The chicken was tender and really nice. I do love this grilled chicken so much.
The ebi tempura was crispy and not oily.
The white brown rice was also surprised me because the taste was pretty delicious.
Edamame, sweet corns and cabbage salad were also nicely done.
Coco Lychee drink also had two pieces of lychee. This drink was nice and chilling.
The ambience of this cafe was also very calm and peaceful.
I really had a great lunch experience at Hovoh Cafe.
