Looking for a nice dessert around Chinatown area (nearby Maxwell MRT)?
You may try to visit Jin Yu Man Tang.
I found out this place while exploring the area with my sister and cousins for supper.
Jin Yu Man Tang has a lot of dessert varieties for you to choose from the cold dessert, hot dessert, steamed desert until fried dessert.
To be honest I was a bit confused when seeing the menu, but luckily they also had a dessert picture on their menu, so I could roughly knew what I wanted to order.
We tried Black Sticky Rice + Ice Cream ($4.50), Mixed Fruits with Sago Milk + Ice Cream (6.80), Signature Secret Sauce Chicken Feet ($$4 for 4 pieces), Mango Sago Pomelo ($5.20), Mango with Mini Rice Ball ($5.20) and Deep Fried Milk ($5.50 for 6 pieces).
Among these desserts, Mango Sago Pomelo and Deep Fried Milk are their recommended desserts to try.
Black Sticky Rice + Ice Cream look very appealing and it is indeed tasty.
Mixed Fruits with Sago Milk + Ice Cream is refreshing.
Mango Sago Pomelo is very nice.
I also like Mango with Mini Rice Ball because it has real mango fruit.
Signature Secret Sauce Chicken Feet is quite nice and if you like chicken feet, you may try to order this dish.
I like Deep Fried Milk so much. It’s crispy outside and inside is pretty similar like white rabbit candy.
Overall we enjoyed Jin Yu Man Tang‘s dessert.
