Glodok area was well known as a biggest Chinatown area in Jakarta since Dutch colonial era.
Because of that, there were a lot of delicious and unique Chinese cuisine to satisfy your craving on delicious food.
This time I visited Yani Pia to try their Pia (a.k.a Bakpia).
Yani Pia is run by one auntie and she is selling four different types of flavours: Kacang Hijau (Green Bean), Coklat (Chocolate), Keju (Cheese) and Durian.
The auntie also fry the bakpia right on the spot so you will get the freshest hot bakpia.
It was pretty amusing to see the bakpia fried in front of my eyes.
Actually I wish to try all of the bakpia flavours, but too bad the Chocolate flavour haven’t ready yet on that time, so I only tried Kacang Hijau, Keju and Durian.
We could easily identify the flavours just by seeing how many green dots on top of the bakpia, so do not worry to buy all flavours altogether.
The Kacang Hijau and Keju flavours were yummy but for me the star of this bakpia was Durian flavour because she was using real durian as a topping and the topping portion was a lot.
The durian itself was fragrant and sweet.
As a Durian lovers, I’m really satisfied and happy when eating this Durian Bakpia.
Honestly it’s worth the money and calories 😂. I really recommend you to try these Bakpia.
