Other than The Tea Party Express, I also saw another food stall nearby named Khoon Coffee House Express at SMU.
Khoon Coffee Shop is selling few types of food, such as baked rice, burger and local delights.
After seeing the menu, I was interested to try their seafood baked rice, but still couldn’t decide whether I should try Creamy Seafood Baked Rice or Tomato Seafood Baked Rice.
Actually Tomato Seafood Baked Rice is their recommended menu but after I asked the staff for a recommendation, I decided to go with Creamy Seafood Baked Rice Set ($6.50).
Creamy Seafood Baked Rice contains steamed rice with shrimps, mushrooms, scallops and creamy sauce covered with super thick cheese baked in a very hot temperature.
Although the serving time is not as fast as other menu, for me, it is quite worthy to wait unless you are rushing.
The shrimps and scallops were nice and fresh.
The cheese was very thick until the max.
This baked rice is better to eat while it’s still hot and not advisable to go for take away because there is no point to eat baked rice when it’s no longer hot.
The drink is also free. It’s very worthy, right?
Now I am quite envy of student who is studying in Singapore. When I studied in Jakarta, there was no such thing as free drink 😂.
