I recently went to GR.iD Singapore mall to hunt food for my weekday lunch.
After observing the surrounding area, I saw one newly open restaurant named Magnate Bistro KTV Mall that was having promo of $5.80 for either Thai Basil Meat with Rice & Egg or Thai Fried Rice.
Honestly I didn’t know whether this promo would be available every day including weekend & public holiday or only weekday lunch, but one thing for sure, this promo was quite pocket friendly.
I tried Thai Basil Meat with Rice & Egg and I put special request to make it lesser spicy.
Although this was a promo dish, they still put a generous portion of Thai Basil Meat topping and the taste could also compete with the other Thailand restaurants.
For me, this Thai Basil Meat was still spicy. If you really couldn’t take spicy food, I suggest to request for non spicy.
Other than Thai Basil Meat with Rice & Egg, I also tried Stir Fried Garlic Pork ($13.80) and Thai Iced Red Tea ($3.80).
This Stir Fried Garlic Pork was kind of unique because it had sauce (looked like braised sauce) inside this dish. I really thought Stir Fried Garlic Pork was supposed to be dry. But because of the sauce, this dish became tastier.
Thai Iced Red Tea is a Thai Iced Milk Tea. Although the price is $3.80, it’s still worth to order because it comes with the free refill.
Overall, run faster to Magnate Bistro KTV and hopefully they still have the $5.80 promo.
