Yay, finally I became one of followers of the McDonald’s Laksa Delight Burger hype since I tried it few days ago😂.
There are soooo many people in Singapore who have tried and reviewed these Laksa Delight Burger (despite pro and cons), so it doesn’t make sense for me as a food blogger if I never tried it 😛.
So here I am with McDonald’s Laksa Delight Prawn Burger, Laksa Delight Chicken Burger and Pulut Hitam Pie.
Fyi, I bought two sets of McDonald’s Laksa Delight with each set ($10.80) comes with one Laksa Burger, Pulut Hitam Pie, French Fries and drink.
Btw before I start the review, please don’t boo me because I don’t choose Teh C Frapee for the drink 😅. I choose Coke Zero and Ribena instead.
Laksa Delight Prawn Burger consists of lightly toasted butter buns with crispy prawn patty, Laksa sauce, round egg and fresh purple cabbage slaw.
The prawn patty is actually nice. But, even though they put quite okay amount of Laksa sauce, the sauce taste itself tastes very light and not strong as normal laksa taste. So I could barely taste the Laksa sauce in this burger.
How about the Laksa Delight Chicken Burger? Laksa Delight Chicken Burger consists of lightly toasted butter buns with chicken patty, Laksa sauce, round egg and fresh purple cabbage slaw.
I am quite shocked that they give me super little Laksa sauce inside this Laksa Delight Chicken Burger. Can you imagine? How can I taste the laksa? 😢. It’s tasted pretty bland for me.
Pulut Hitam Pie filling contains of purple sticky rice with coconut cream. I like this Pulut Hitam Pie so much. It’s delicioussss.
I am impressed with Pulut Hitam Pie, but not with Laksa Delight Burger.
