This morning I went to One Punggol to buy my breakfast and saw there were many food, plants and other booth in conjunction of Sustainability & Wellness Festival 2022.
Because of my curiosity, I passed by each booth and saw one booth selling vegetable ice cream to be exact, spinach ice cream.
This spinach ice cream was reminded me of Popeye the Sailor Man.
In order to become strong like Popeye, I bought two cups of Nippon Green from Nippon Fish Farm / Nippon Koi Farm.
Nippon Green ($3) is a locally farmed spinach ice cream that is made from farmed fresh Finland Spinach, cream, sugar and other ingredients.
Fyi, there are seven benefit of eating Finland spinach:
– rich in vitamins
– contains antioxidants to protect developing cancer
– improves vision
– vitamin K to promote healthy blood circulations
– rich in magnesium and potassium for energizing
– helps stave off dementia
– ideal way to lose weight while staying healthy
Since I ordered for take away, they gave me a cool Singapore Food Agency bag.
This Nippon Green ice cream has green colour that comes from Finland spinach.
I am really sure that they make this ice cream from spinach because I can feel a bit of spinach texture inside this ice cream and the sweet level is not too sweet. I believe they are using less sugar to make this ice cream.
Well, at the first and second spoon, I do feel this tastes a bit weird, but after third spoon, I feel nicer and nicer.
I kind of like this ice cream. I honestly recommend you to try this ice cream.
