A Sweet Escape at Nunsaram: Our Delightful Weekend Treat
Last weekend, we found ourselves at Novena Square Mall, eager to explore a spot we hadn’t yet discovered. After wandering around, something irresistible caught our eye—a charming Korean dessert café called Nunsaram.
Nunsaram specializes in eight tantalizing flavors of bingsu, the famous Korean snowflake dessert. After much deliberation, we decided to indulge in their Choco Banana Bingsu, opting for the large size at S$17.90.
This decadent treat is perfect for sharing between two people. The presentation alone had us excited—slices of fresh banana neatly lined around the bowl, while rich chocolate cake chunks, a generous scoop of chocolate ice cream, and a dusting of chocolate powder adorned the top. Beneath it all, the snowflake ice waited, ready to melt in your mouth.
The balance of sweetness was just right—each spoonful of fluffy, finely shaved ice mixed with the chocolate powder was a delightful combination of light and rich flavors. It was the perfect harmony of refreshing and indulgent.
If you’re not in the mood for bingsu, Nunsaram has more to offer. Their menu features tempting options like gimbap, ttokbokki, hotteok, toast, and waffles, making it an ideal spot for any craving.
