Let’s start the review 😀.
Kueh Salat is a steamed glutinous rice cake with a thick layer of fine pandan coconut custard. I like this Kueh Salat. It’s very yummy and high quality.
Kueh Bingka is made from grated tapioca oven baked until become golden brown. This Kueh Bingka is also nice.
Kueh Koh Swee is made from pure gula melaka steamed over a gentle fire creating a soft, delicate and sticky coated with fresh grated coconut. This kueh is simply nice and not so sweet. The grated coconut is also very fresh and crunchy.
Kueh Putugal a.k.a Tapioca Banana has banana wrapped in steamed tapioca skin, coloured using blue pea flowers and coated with fresh grated coconut. Same like Kueh Koh Swee, the grated coconut is very fresh and crunchy. Banana is also fresh and not so soft. This Kueh Putugal has unique delicious taste.
Kueh Lapis Sagu is a layer cake made from fresh coconut milk, pandan and natural blue pea extract. Instead of using rainbow colour, Oh Mak Gua is using natural blue pea extract to create the colour. This kueh is tasty.
You can taste that all Oh Mak Gua’s kuehs are really using natural ingredients and the most impressed me is these Kuehs not so sweet but very delicate.
I like these Peranakan Kuehs alot and really recommend you to try.
