Today I would share with you another Indonesian old school snacks named Otak-Otak Bulat.
Similar as Kue Cubit, normally Otak-Otak Bulat seller is selling their Otak-Otak outside the school using bicycle.
This Otak-Otak (Otah in English) has round shape. It’s totally different shape with long version of White Colour Otah and Red Colour Otah (Singaporean version).
The other differences are instead of grilled, they fried it and this Otak Otak is not made from fish.
It’s like having similar name, but actually refering to different food.
Normally the seller would pour a kind of mild spicy peanut sauce on top of this Otak Otak Bulat.
Even though the appearance of this Otak-Otak Bulat is not very interesting, but believe me, the taste of this Otak-Otak Bulat mixed with peanut sauce is very nice.
In the past, this Otak-Otak Bulat was one of the top best street food snacks among students.
