Penang Delights

Penang Delights

Craving for a delicious prawn mee around Ang Mo Kio area? You may try visiting Penang Delights at S11 Ang Mo Kio Central.

I accidentally found this place while googling to search delicious food around Ang Mo Kio MRT station.

Penang Delights offers few types of Penang cuisine such as Penang Prawn Mee, Penang Dry Mee, Penang Lor Mee and Pork Ribs Mee.

I ordered Penang Delights’s large portion of Penang Prawn Mee because I was so hungry.

This Penang Prawn Mee consists of noodle, soup, prawn, slices of lean pork, fish cake, bean sprouts, kang kong and chilli. As you expected for large portion, they give quite a lot of prawns.

The prawns are big and fresh. Lean pork is tender. The soup is also fragrant, savoury and has rich flavours. Drinking this soup will boost your appetite.

One thing to take note when you eat this prawn mee is that before mixing everything with chilli, do try to eat this prawn mee with a bit chilli first. Once you are okay with the taste, then you can mix it.  Why do I mention this? (Actually it depends on preference) I feel that this chilli is overpowering soup taste so I prefer to mix this prawn mee with chilli as it will destroy the soup taste.

I feel this prawn mee is good to try and to get the best taste of this prawn mee, eat it while it’s still hot.
