My burger journey continued and I randomly went to One Punggol Hawker Centre recently and found one quite new Korean food stall named Phat Jack that was selling Korean Fried Chicken and Burgers.

Because I was curious about which kind of burger that normally Korean would loved and if their burger version had simillar topping like Singaporean one, I decided to try it.
Phat Jack was having there different types of burger which was Yangnyeom Fried Chicken Burger Set ($7.20), Bulgogi Beef Burger Set ($7.80) and King Oyster Mushroom Beef Burger Set ($8.60).

I chose Yangnyeom Fried Chicken Burger Set because this burger appearance looked better to take pictures than the other two.

Yangnyeom Fried Chicken Burger Set contained Classic Brioche Buns, Boneless Fried Chicken Thigh, In-house Yangnyeom Glaze and Homemade Slaw. They also gave Sea Salt Fries as the side dish.
After my first bite, I was really amazed by the ingredients that they put and of course the taste. “This burger truly reflects a Korean cuisine” – this sentence was flying in my mind.

They put few slices of white radish in this burger. I was not sure whether they used fermented raddish or not, but the taste was really amazing and brought this burger to a new level.
Homemade Slaw also had dark purple colour and it tasted so goooood.

Boneless Fried Chicken Thigh skin was crispy and the meat inside was tender.

In-house Yangnyeom Glaze also made this burger taste special.
They also gave quite a lot of Sea Salt Fries. If you want to upgrade to Cheese Fries, you need to pay extra $2.
Overall I was really impressed with Phat Jack‘s Yangnyeom Fried Chicken Burger. It’s really recommended to try.
