Today I would share with you one place in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta that is selling wood fired pizza and probably might be the first wood fired pizza in Kelapa Gading.
This place name is Pizza Napoletana.
I knew this place from mgdalenaf YouTube channel.
The highlights about Pizza Napoletana are that they are using original Italian pizza recipe with premium ingredients and wood fired oven to bake.
Sounds cool, right?
I was so excited when I saw her YouTube about Pizza Napoletana since I was in Jakarta at that time 😊 and I haven’t been to Italia before, so I didn’t have to go to Italia to try Italian authentic pizza 😂.
Because they made the pizza themselves inside their home, the only available option to buy this pizza was either to take away or using food delivery platform.
I used Gofood app to order Carne Pizza from Pizza Napoletana.
Carne Pizza consists of pizza with few toppings such as smoked beef salami, home-made tomato sauce, mozzarella, olive oil and fresh basil leaves.
This Carne Pizza is a thin pizza and from mgdalenaf YouTube channel, I learned the correct way to eat pizza especially the thin one (using ‘Fold It Over and Eat It’ method)😊.
This pizza has quite strong smoky taste and it’s very tasty.
The top part of this pizza is chewy like eating sourdough bread. Perhaps they could make it a little bit softer.
Overall I enjoyed this pizza so much and it’s best to eat while it’s still hot.
