Today I would share with you about one newly opened shop which is located at Jalan Pahang Johor Bahru (nearby Hiap Joo Bakery & Biscuit Factory) named Purple & Red Restaurants.
From far, this building really stands out because of the red colour painting on the building. Thanks to that colour, I noticed it and gave a visit.
From the menu, Purple & Red Restaurants is selling cold drinks, hot drinks and food.
They are having six different types of cold drinks, such as Hand Crush Lemon Tea (MYR 7.50), Mojito – Non Alcoholic (MYR 7.50), Rose Syrup Bandong (MYR 7.50), Natural Hand Bubbing Aiyu Jelly (MYR 8.50), Ice Tick Milo (MYR 8.50) and Ice Black Coffee (MYR 7.50).
For hot drinks, they are having theee different types, such as Hot Hand Crush Lemon Tea (MYR 7.50), Hot Tick Milo (MYR 7.50) and Hot Black Coffee (MYR 7.50).
For the food, they are having four different types, such as Tuna Jaffle Tabasco (MYR 6.50), Banana Peanut Butter Jaffle (MYR 6.50), Fruit Jam Jaffle (MYR 4) and Old Chen Pi Red Bean Soup (MYR 5).
Purple & Red Restaurants speciality is their cold drinks because they are using upgraded version of “take away coffee plastic bag” to put the cold drinks instead of using reusable cup / mug.
What a brilliant idea to preserve old school way with some of modern touching to make it more interesting for youngster.
As a recommendation after asking the owner, which drink looked better in photo, she told me about Mojito.
Mojito is a non alcoholic version of cold drinks and consist of lots of mints, lemon slices and soda.
This mojito is very refreshing and has a strong mints taste.
It’s definitely refreshed my body and mind.
This restaurant decoration is also pretty cool and has a place to hang your cold drinks on the second floor.
