I was recently craving about nasi biryani and tried googling to find the place which was selling delicious nasi biryani around Punggol and Sengkang area.
Luckily I found one place named Royal Sultanah – SG DUM Biryani Queen which was selling delicious DUM biryani. In fact many of the reviewers gave very good ratings and some said this was one the best nasi biryani in Singapore.
Although Royal Sultanah – SG DUM Biryani Queen is only selling this DUM biryani via online and don’t have physical restaurant, you can order it via their website or Foodpanda.
Fyi, Foodpanda is currently having promo free delivery above $20. I used Foodpanda to order mine instead of from their website because I had to go to Sengkang to collect it myself if I ordered it from the website.
So here I am ordering Chicken DUM Biryani ($14) and Mutton DUM Biryani ($16).
Both Chicken DUM Biryani and Mutton DUM Biryani are a Bombay Style DUM Biryani.
Both Chicken and Mutton DUM Biryani have Basmati Rice, Potatoes, Curd, Onions, Tomatoes, Herbs, Spices. They served it with Cucumber Salad Raita on sides.
They put two large sizes of chicken drumsticks inside one Chicken DUM Biryani portion.
These DUM Biryani were really really tasty. I was surprised on how delicious these DUM Biryani can be.
The Basmati rice was cooked perfectly and the overall taste was very delicious.
The mutton and chicken drumsticks were also tender and tasty.
I also noticed that they didn’t serve it with curry sauce, so perhaps authentic DUM Biryani didn’t have curry sauce.
Although it’s pricey, it’s totally worth it 😊. Don’t believe me? Do try it yourself.
