Today I will share with you all about one restaurant named Sagoo Kitchen in Tangerang – Indonesia that I went to with my dear.

Located inside Mall@Alam Sutera, Sagoo Kitchen is selling wide range of Indonesian cuisine (more into Indonesian Chinese cuisine) and this restaurant’s decoration is very eye catching. To be honest, the decoration is stand out compared with other restaurants nearby and made us curious to try it.

They also took the effort to name every dishes because the dishes name were using old school Indonesian language way.

We ordered Nasie Poe Joeng Hay (IDR55.000 around SGD5.5), Nasie Goreng Sagoo (IDR46.500 around SGD4.65), Tahoe Kopjok Telor (IDR48.000 around SDD4.8) and Wedang Uwuh that uses Rock Sugar.

Nasi Poe Joeng Hay consists of steamed rice with Fuyunghai (Chinese Indonesian version of Omelette dish), Fuyunghai sauce and vegetables.

This Fuyunghai is thick, crispy and very delicious. You must eat it with the sauce to get the authentic taste of Fuyunghai. I honestly missed this kind of Fuyunghai since I couldn’t find it in Singapore.

Nasi Goreng Sagoo consists of fried rice with beef jerky, omelette egg, crackers and achar.

It’s delicious and beef jerky is surprisingly matched with fried rice.

Tahoe Kopjok Telor consists of tofu wrapped and fried with omelette egg. They serve this Tahoe Kopjok Telor with petis sauce.

Tahoe Kopjok Telor is not oily and delicious.

Wedang Uwuh that uses Rock Sugar is not very sweet and it’s refreshing.

Overall we were really pleased to have our brunch there. Too bad it’s located far from my place, so I couldn’t eat there too often.
