I have one food shop to recommend that definitely would satisfy your cravings.
This shop name is Salahuddin Bakery.
Salahuddin Bakery is a famous old school bakery shop that is well known among Malaysian and foreigners. They are selling traditional breads, puff and other snacks.
Salahuddin Bakery is one of my wish list place in Johor Bahru to visit and I am glad that finally I can step my feet in this shop.
The moment you step inside this shop, it will be transformed to become an old era place which the baked goods are still made using room-sized wood fired oven.
Sounds cool right? Yes, it’s indeed cool.
To be honest I really wish to try as many as their snacks, but because this Johor Bahru trip is full of food hunting, I cannot eat too much in one place, so I only buy two baked goods which are Karipap Sardin and Butter Cream Puff.
The Karipap Sardin is an Indian curry puff version.
The skin is crunchy enough and the Karipap Sardin is delicious.
Butter Cream Puff is an old school puff that the inside has cream fillings. It’s sweet and tasty.
Overall I really love their snacks. You must visit Salahuddin Bakery for your Johor Bahru trip.
