Today I will introduce you one of my favourite Indonesian cuisine that I recently really missed a lot.
The name of this dish is Soto Mie Bogor.
Soto Mie is an Indonesian noodle soup dish. If you are wondering whether this Soto Mie Bogor is the same like Singapore Mee Soto, my answer is not the same.
I tried this Soto Mie Bogor at Soto Mie Asli Bogor Pak Kadir.
This Soto Mie Bogor consists of noodle and rice vermicelli, tomato, beef, risoles spring rolls served with broth soup, sweet soy sauce, fried shallots, scallions and sambal chilli (if you prefer spicy. It also comes with emping (crackers made from melinjo).
Sometimes, they also put boiled radish inside Soto Mie Bogor but too bad this time, the radish were sold out.
I ordered Soto Mie Bogor with extra risoles spring rolls.
The keys of good Soto Mie Bogor are from the broth soup taste and how tender and fresh the beef. Also, the soup condition whether they serve in hot condition or not because this Soto Mie Bogor is best to eat while it’s still hot.
Risoles spring roll has vermicelli inside this risoles. It’s crispy outside and soft inside. It’s a different type of spring rolls that is commonly found in Singapore.
Also sometimes Indonesian people eat this Soto Mie Bogor with rice.
Overall I like Soto Mie Asli Bogor Pak Kadir. It’s yummy, the soup is tasty, risoles crispy and beef is tender.
