Wondering what to eat nearby Jalan Besar MRT station?
Honestly, I am also wondering because it seems that there is not many food options to try other than inside Berseh Food Centre.
But, actually my thought is wrong because actually nearby Jalan Besar MRT station has one hidden gem hawker centre named Yi He Eating House that almost all food stall inside this hawker centre is selling delicious food.
Frankly speaking I actually went to Yi He Eating House because I was curious about the porridge, but the porridge owner told me that I had to wait for one hour. So I was looking for other food options and my gut was telling me to try Victor Famous Fried Chicken Wing Rice & Hainanese Chicken Rice.
So here I am trying their Famous Fried Chicken Wing Rice ($4.50) and they give four pieces of delicious fried chicken wings and serve it with seasoned rice (chicken rice) and vegetables.
This chicken wing is simply delicious. It’s crispy outside, soft inside and has yummy taste. It’s different with common fried chicken wing.
The seasoned rice is also tasty and I believe this seasoned rice is the same rice that people normally use to make chicken rice.
For $4.50, this Famous Fried Chicken Wing Rice is pretty affordable.
