Looking for a Budget-Friendly Restaurant at The Star Vista Mall?
If you’re on the hunt for a pocket-friendly dining spot inside The Star Vista Mall, Warm Up Café is worth a visit. Specializing in authentic Thai cuisine, this restaurant is frequently bustling with customers.

Curious about its popularity, we decided to stop by after church and sample a variety of dishes: Braised Beef Tendon Boat Noodle ($11.90), Pad Thai Wrapped in Egg ($11.90), Small Pork Boat Noodle ($1.90), Small Beef Boat Noodle ($1.90), and Thai Lemongrass Drink ($3.90).

The Braised Beef Tendon Boat Noodle features tender beef that melts in your mouth. The tendon is equally soft, and we opted for rice noodles, which absorbed the soup beautifully. However, the soup’s herbal flavors were a bit too strong for our taste, perhaps because we aren’t familiar with those particular herbs.

Both the Small Pork Boat Noodle and Small Beef Boat Noodle come with the same soup base as the beef noodles. (Usually, other restaurants offer different flavors for pork and beef soups.) Surprisingly, these small portions were much spicier than expected, and we couldn’t figure out why.

The Pad Thai Wrapped in Egg was a saving grace. It reminded us of the authentic Pad Thai we had in Thailand—moist, savory, and absolutely delicious. If you visit, I can almost guarantee you’ll love this dish.

The Thai Lemongrass Drink was also refreshing and packed with flavor.

Overall, we’d definitely come back to Warm Up Café, but next time, we’ll likely skip the boat noodles. One last note: service here can be a bit slow, so if you’re in a rush, you might want to reconsider your timing.
