Craving a delicious pork rice dish at Chinatown Complex Market & Food Centre?
You might want to check out Zhu Zhu Zai.

I visited Zhu Zhu Zai on a weekday afternoon and decided to try their Braised Pork Belly Rice, priced at $5.50. The price caught my attention, so I was curious to see if it was worth it.

The dish came with steamed rice, three thick cuts of braised pork belly, two slices of cucumber, fresh spring onion slices, and a generous drizzle of braised gravy.

To be honest, $5.50 feels a little pricey, but the pork belly was tender, flavorful, and free of any unpleasant porky smell. The rich, savory gravy paired beautifully with the steamed rice, making each bite satisfying.

If there’s one thing I’d suggest, it would be to slice the pork thinner for a better presentation or perhaps add an extra piece to enhance the value.
Overall, I enjoyed this dish and would recommend it to those who love a good, comforting bowl of braised pork belly rice.
