You may try to visit 69 Chui Kueh to have your breakfast. Just in case if you are wondering on how early they open? They start open from 6:00AM. Very early, right?
Other than selling Chui Kueh, they also have other menus, such as Chee Cheong Fun, Yam Cake, Nyonya Dumpling, Bean Dumpling and Meat dumpling.
But since they are using Chui Kueh as a part of the shop name, so I assume that their speciality dish is Chui Kueh and I straightaway order the Chui Kueh.
FYI, Chui Kueh is a steam water rice cake with preserved turnip.
I can get 5 pieces of Chui Kueh for only $2. Quite affordable, right?
Taste wise (even though they are giving us not much of Chye Poh) is still tasty and savory because of their strong Chye Poh (preserved turnip) taste.
Will I go there again? Yes.
