Bakso Bibik Podas

Today i will share with you one Indonesian all time favorite food that will amaze you even by only looking at the picture, but of course the taste is also greatly yummy.

The name of this place is Bakso Bibik Podas. From the name itself and if you have ever tried Indonesian food, perhaps you already know what this place is selling. Yes, it’s selling Bakso.

Bakso or baso is an Indonesian meat ball or meat paste made from beef surimi. The texture is similar to Chinese beef ball. The word bakso may refer to a single meat ball or the complete dish of meat ball soup.

Bakso Bibik Podas is selling a complete dish using Bakso as the key ingredient. Indonesian people usually eat bakso with noodle / beehoon. Bakso Bibik Podas also put noodle into this Bakso dishes.

I try two different types of Bakso dishes: Bakso Telur Maknyus! and Bakso Mercun Melecet. I also try Ayam Kepaowow.

Bakso Telur Maknyus!

Bakso Telur Maknyus! is made from a tummy filling masterpiece of egg and beef rolled into a giant beef ball paired with light yet savoury beef broth. This dish comes with a big portion of noodles, giant beef ball, normal size beef ball and tau pok.

Bakso Telur Maknyus!

The giant beef ball is sooooo huge and tasty. Once you cut this giant beef ball, you will see one boiled egg.  Normal size beef ball, tau pok and beef broth are also yummy.

Bakso Mercun Melecet

Bakso Mercun Melecet is made from beef ball stuffed with generous proportions of chilli paired with spicy chilli beef broth. This Bakso Mercun Melecet is Bakso Bibik Podas spicy version of their Beef ball menu while Bakso Telur Maknyus! is suitable for non spicy lovers.

Bakso Mercun Melecet

Bakso Mercum Melecet beef ball is also very huge and inside the beef ball has a lot of chilli. It’s very spicy. The broth is also spicy. This dish also comes with a big portion of noodles, giant spicy beef ball, normal size beef ball and tau pok.

Both beef ball menus are equally delicious and you can taste beef in the broth. Each menu has very huge portion and they put a lot of noodles. I guarantee you will be very full after finishing one bowl. These beef ball is also good to eat with rice if you prefer to.

Ayam Kepaowow

Ayam Kepaowow is rich in flavours and yummy. It’s different like normal fried chicken wing.

You should try it. It’s a not easily found dishes in Singapore and these beef ball is super hugeeee.
