I really thought there are not much delicious hawker food around Sengkang area, but recently I found one super delicious hidden prawn noodle at one of the Sengkang area small hawker centre.
This shop name is Big Prawn Noodle. Even though I mentioned it as a hidden place (because of location), apparently after googling, I found some people reviewed it before.
Anyway, Big Prawn Noodle is selling five main noodle dishes, such as Big Prawn Noodle, Extra Big Prawn Noodle, Normal Prawn Noodle, Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle and Pork Ribs Noodle. Other than that main noodle, they also allow you to add on few types of toppings with additional money.
I ordered dry version of Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle to take away with yellow noodle and kway teow as noodle selection as I was curious to try both prawn and pork ribs taste.
They are having three different prices for Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle: $6, $8 and $10. I chose $6.
Just in case you have never tried Prawn Noodle before, even though I ordered dry Prawn Noodle, they would still give me Prawn Noodle soup in separate bowl / packaging.
The soup itself has fantastic taste. It’s very rich of prawn essence and has strong yummy taste.
The benefit of choosing dry version is that they put more ingredients to the dish and it’s a better option for take away.
The prawn is quite big and fresh. The pork ribs is also tender and they give generously.
Overall this Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle is one of the best prawn noodle that I have ever had in Singapore.
I strongly recommend you to try this and be patience joining the queue 😂.
