I like Boon Tong Kee chicken rice so much. So, I frequently buy this chicken rice from Boon Tong Kee Sengkang branch.
Normally I order Chicken Rice Box and add Braised Egg to take away.
Chicken Rice Box consists of steamed chicken, rice, fried meat ball and preservative vegetables.
You can request to get boneless chicken from steamed chicken (like I always do) because if you don’t request it, they might give you so many chicken bone with less chicken meat. The steamed chicken is tender and has good texture of meat (you can feel it when you chew it).
The rice that they serve is the common chicken rice’s rice (not plain white rice). This rice is fragrant and tasty.
They give one piece of fried meat ball. It’s yummy and I like it.
Preservative vegetables contains cucumber, carrot and cabbage. They give generous portion of these vegetables and these are a good match to eat with this chicken rice.
This chicken rice box also comes with four different packages of sauce such as ginger sauce, chilli sauce, black sweet ketchup and chicken rice‘s brown sauce to make chicken more tasty.
Normally, I pour brown sauce first on top of chicken and rice. After that, I pour ginger sauce, black sweet ketchup and chilli sauce on top of chicken and rice.
This chicken rice is really tasty and I won’t feel bored when I keep eating this chicken rice.
