Bun Up!

Today I will share with you another place selling delicious Indonesian cuisine that you can try in Singapore named Bun Up!

As you know many unique Indonesian food have delicious taste so rather than flying to Indonesia to try the food, you can try it in Singapore, especially now we couldn’t travel to Indonesia.

I try two variants of Pempek Dos: Pempek Telur and Pempek Lenjer, Risoles and Indonesian style of Sweet Martabak.

Let’s try to review it one by one.

Pempek is a savoury Indonesian fishcake delicacy made from fish and tapioca. Pempek is originally from Palembang – South Sumatera Indonesia. Normally pempek is served with rich sweet and sour sauce called kuah Cuka.

Pempek itself has few variants. Bun Up! is selling two different smaller versions variants of Pempek which is Pempek Telur and Pempek Lenjer.

Pempek Telur

Pempek Telur is normally called Pempek Kapal Selam (Submarine Pempek) in Indonesia. Why do they call it Submarine? It’s because this Pempek shape looks like submarine. What a creative name to use, right? Hehehe. I love this Pempek Telur because it has an egg inside and it’s nice.

This Pempek Telur is crunchy and tasty.

Pempek Lenjer

Pempek Lenjer shape looks like tube. This Pempek doesn’t have any egg inside. You can cut into many small pieces and dip one by one into the kuah Cuka, so the Pempek can absorb kuah Cuka. Although it doesn’t have egg, Pempek Lenjer is also yummy.

Both Pempek must be dipped into kuah Cuka to get original authentic delicious pempek taste. It’s best to eat it right after frying it.

Risoles

Bun Up! Risoles is a newer variants of traditional Indonesia Risoles because it has Chicken Ham, Egg Mayo and Cheese. Indonesian youngsters are more into this variants rather than traditional Indonesian Risoles because they like Chicken Ham, Egg Mayo and Cheese more. I also prefer this because I am a youngster. Hahaha.

Bun Up! generously put a Chicken Ham, Egg Mayo and Cheese filling into this Risoles. It’s yummyliciously delicious.

Pandan Indonesian style of Sweet Martabak

I try Bun Up! Pandan Indonesian style of Sweet Martabak. Since it’s made from Pandan, the colour of this Martabak is green. Cool, right? Maybe after you eat this, you can become a Hulk. Hehehe.

The flavour that I try is combination between Chocolate and Cheese. They also put condensed milk. Can you imagine how mouthwatering is this sweet martabak? Yes, the taste is indeed mouthwateringly delicious. It’s yummyyyyy.

You should try these food from Bun Up!.
