Lion dance is normally identical with Chinese New Year and other Chinese traditional, cultural and religious festivals.
In case if you don’t know what Lion Dance is. Lion Dance is a form of traditional dance in Chinese culture and other Asian countries in which the performers mimic a lion’s movement in a lion costume to bring good luck and fortune.
Some Chinese people who believe Lion Dance could bring good luck and fortune would bring Lion Dance performers to perform in their new house / new office /new business place open house.
I saw this Lion Dance performance in Chinatown during photo shooting for Chinese New Year theme.
