Christmas Wonderland 2019

Christmas is coming soon….Hohoho…I always feel Christmas is the best time of the year. How about you?

If you’ve been doing good deeds, Santa Claus will give you present on Christmas eve. In returns, you shall provide milk and cookies for Santa (just in case if he is hungry and thirsty hehehehe) when he secretly visits your place.

Well, I guess this year, Santa will be very busy because other than visiting children’s houses , he is also visiting Garden by the Bay in the Christmas Wonderland event.

If you are wondering how do I know that Santa will be visiting Christmas Wonderland event? Santa told me personally because I am a good boy. Hohoho.

I will share with you a little secret that Santa shares with me…..while you are meeting with Santa, you can take a picture with him as well. Sounds, cool right?

I got an invitation with a media pass to review Christmas Wonderland at the Garden by the Bay, so I went there last Sunday to meet with Santa.

Christmas Wonderland have eight main spotlights for you to enjoy:
– Luminarie Light Sculptures
– Santa’s Workshop
– Blizzard Time presented by Haagen-Dazs
– Carnival Games and Rides
– Smash-hit Productions
– Christmas Parade
– Garden Rhapsody – The Christmas Special
– Festive Entertainment

Let me review one by one.

1. Luminarie Light Sculptures
This Luminarie Light Sculptures includes a stunning 21 metre tall Spalliera inspired by the iconic towers of San Gimignano in Tuscany, Italia as well as Asia’s tallest Luminarie Christmas Tree.

2. Santa’s Workshop
Santa’s Workshop is inspired by Santa house and present factory where elves are working there to create toys, wrapping presents and fulfilling wishes on their list. You can take a picture with Santa Claus on this Santa’s Workshop.

3. Blizzard Time presented by Haagen-Dazs
You may experience the wonder of snow against a stunning and colourful backdrop of Luminarie Light Sculptures and the Supertrees daily. This year Blizzard Time is presented by Haagen-Dazs.

4. Carnival Games and Rides
There are 18 traditional carnival games and rides, including a Mini Viking, Bumper Cars and Swing Chair Carousel. You can also take small Christmas train to see the scenery of this event.

5. Smash-hit Productions
Located at Meadow Theatre, Smash-hit Production contains four different shows from the famous performance around the world: Trash Test Dummies (Australia), Snow Play (United Kingdom), the Old Shoemaker (Singapore), Vitaly – Pure Wonder (United States). Tickets to enter these show are sold separately.

6. Christmas Parade
From Friday to Sunday at 8 pm, there will be a carnival with cute Christmas design vehicles with your favourite Christmas character.

7. Garden Rhapsody – The Christmas Special
The Supertree at the Garden by the Bay will have lights dancing to Christmas classic songs sung by local artists: Andrew Marko and Ethel Yap.

8. Festive Entertainment
There are a lot of line-up entertainment including choral performances, festive tunes from some of Singapore’s finest talents, light and sound shows.

You can visit Garden by the Bay to see Christmas Wonderland from now until 26 December 2019.

What do I like the most on this event? Of course, the first thing is meeting with Santa, the second is snow in blizzard time and amazing choral performance singing Christmas song. It’s fantastic.

Do bring your children, family members and the loves one to visit Christmas Wonderland. I guarantee you will not regret it.

– Purchase entry tickets online before 12pm on the day of your visit. Same-day admission tickets after 12pm can only be purchased at Christmas Wonderland ticketing counters on site.
– Tickets can be purchased from the Christmas Wonderland ticketing counters on site from 29 Nov to 26 Dec 2019. Please refer to event operating hours for ticketing counter opening times.
– Entry is complimentary for up to 2 children under 0.9m for each paying adult.
– *Valid only for seniors 60 years old and above. Senior Citizens are required to flash your Pioneer/Merdeka Generation Card/Senior Citizen concession card at the ticketing counter to enjoy this exclusive promotion.
