Dong Jin Yuan Dian Xin is specialized on selling deep fried carrot cake sticks. To be honest in Singapore nowadays, it’s quite hard to find this carrot cake sticks seller. It’s only left few places selling this carrot cake sticks.
Dong Jin Yuan Dian Xin has three types of menu to choose: Carrot Finger, Carrot Cake and Prawn Cake.
For Carrot Finger, you must purchase at least 12 pieces for $2. Carrot Cake is 70c each with minimum of 2 pieces and Prawn Cake is 80c each with also minimum of 2 pieces to order.
I tried $2 Carrot Finger because I could get 12 pieces and majority people queue at Dong Jin Yuan Dian Xin were buying this Carrot Finger.
This Carrot Finger are very crispy in every bite and tasty. But at the same time, it’s a bit oily (but still acceptable for me).
I like this Carrot Finger so much. Next time when I visit Lorong Ah Soo Market, I will definitely buy this Carrot Finger again.
