Located at Kallang Wave Mall, Eat At Taipei is specialized on Taiwanese food. So you don’t have to travel to Taiwan for the sake of trying Taiwanese foods.
I try their three different dishes for dinner: Steamed Barramundi with Black Bean Sauce and Garlic, Canadian Pork Belly Stew and Oyster Omelette. I also order one bowl of rice.
Steamed Barramundi with Black Bean Sauce and Garlic consists of Barramundi fish, Mushrooms, Black Bean Sauce and Garlic. This dish is delicious and Barramundi is fresh. They also give quite a lof of Mushrooms. It’s a good option to order this.
Canadian Pork Belly Stew consists of Pork Belly and Boiled Egg. This Canadian Pork Belly Stew is one of their recommended dishes and it’s also good to try. The Pork Belly is quite a lot and tender.
Oyster Omelette can be considered as a Taiwan street snacks. But for me, I eat this with rice. No right or wrong, it’s just different preference 😀. The oysters are fresh and quite big. This Oyster Omelette is nice.
Fyi, these dishes portion that I try are quite big. It can be shared for two people.
Since I have never been to Taiwan before, I am not so sure how authentic and similarity between these food compared with original Taiwan version. But for me, dishes at Eat At Taipei are good to try.
