During circuit breaker, Bubble Tea were excluded from the list of food retail outlets that were allowed to open but still could operate from central kitchen. But, due to higher demand of wanting to drink Bubble tea, many collaboration between food and Bubble Tea shops were created.
What a creative idea, right?
One of the collaboration that I will share with you all today is FroRoll x PlayMade.
FroRoll is an artisanal ice cream dessert cafe and PlayMade is a bubble tea shop originated from Tainan – Taiwan.
FroRoll offers colourfuly eye catching and instagramable Waffle Pops. There are six different Waffle Pops flavors for you to choose: Old Fashion Sugar Glaze, Fruity Peebles, Chocolate S’mores, Creme Brulee, Cookies & Creme and Lotus Biscuit & Speculoos.
All of the Waffle Pops flavors are yummylicious. One thing I impressed with this Waffle Pops is that the Waffle itself (without topping) is already yummy. By adding topping, these Waffle Pops are very catching and the taste is so perfect.
I try four different flavors of PlayMade bubble tea: Chrysanthemum Milk Tea, Honey Green Tea, Taiwan Milk Tea and Orange Pulp Green Tea.
For Chrysanthemum Milk Tea, I choose Normal Ice, 50% Sugar and Chrysanthemum Pearls topping.
For Honey Green Tea, I choose Normal Ice, Normal Honey and Kanten Jelly topping.
For Taiwan Milk Tea, I choose Normal Ice, 50% Sugar and Pink Cactus Pearls topping.
For Orange Pulp Green Tea, I choose Normal Ice, 50% Sugar, Normal Fruit and Pink Cactus Pearls topping.
I choose all toppings above based on the stores’ recommendation, so I can enjoy the best taste of each drink.
