I visited Hougang Village and found out that around there there is Pasar Malam until 19 November 2023.
The exact place is located outside Sin Heng Kee Porridge until the end of the road.
There are many interesting food stalls to try and in the end my dear was interested to try Tang Hu Lu.
Fyi, Tang Hu Lu is a traditional Chinese snack that has several rock sugar-coated fruits on a bamboo skewer.
This Tang Hu Lu shop is selling three types of Tang Hu Lu with different prices. Small size ($2) and Large size ($4) with either orange or grape. Also Large size of Strawberry ($5).
My dear tried large size of Grape Tang Hu Lu.
Honestly at first I was not really sure about the taste. But it was surprisingly uniquely nice. The sugar was not too sweet and the grape was quite crunchy
I do believe kids would also love it.
So what are you waiting for? Run to this Pasar Malam even though it’s quite far from Hougang MRT station / bus interchange.
