Finally after planning to visit for so long (always don’t have spare time), I managed to visit Jie Bakery (Tai Seng) Pte Ltd.
Curious what is so special about Jie Bakery (Tai Seng) Pte Ltd? Jie Bakery (Tai Seng) Pte Ltd is one of old school traditional bread shop that still exists until now in Singapore. Other than making normal loaf bread and bread with different toppings/flavours, Jie Bakery also creates unique loaf bread that makes this shop stand out. It’s a rainbow loaf bread.
What is rainbow loaf bread? It’s a colourful loaf bread that is normally used by ice cream on wheels seller to sell Potong Ice Cream to become Ice Cream Sandwich.
I purchase two different colour variants of rainbow loaf bread. The loaf bread is fresh from the oven and a bit fragrant. The bread texture is also soft and moist. It’s yummy. So nice until I eat these loaf bread without putting anything (jam, cheese, chocolate).
Actually other than rainbow loaf bread, they also have other delicious bread that has toppings inside. I try cheese bread and it’s also yummy. Btw, I cannot show you the picture since it’s already eaten along the way back to my home 😀.
Overall, I am finally happy to visit Jie Bakery (Tai Seng) Pte Ltd. It’s hard to find these kind of traditional bread shop in Singapore nowadays.
