Calling all ice cream fans in Singapore. I was recently walking around Waterway Point Mall and discovered that Scarlett Supermarket is having “Buy 10 free 2” promo for Joyday Ice Cream.
This “Buy 10 free 2” promo also comes with free cooler bag.
Joyday Ice Cream itself have six different flavours of ice cream: Choco Captain, Sweet Corn, Cool Peach, Milky Milk, Vanilla Milkshake and Cool Pineapple.
Too bad in the time that I purchased, there were no Cool Peach and Milky Milk, so in the end I took 3 Choco Captain, 3 Sweet Corn, 3 Vanilla Milkshake and 3 Cool Pineapple.
Fyi, each Joyday Ice Cream costs $1 regardless the flavour.
So for $10 you will get 12 ice cream and one cooler bag. It’s super worth it, right?
Other than worth the money, the other thing that makes me cannot resist to buy is because their cute ice cream shape.
Let’s take an example: Choco Captain has human face wearing hat shape, Sweet Corn shape is the same like real corn and Cool Pineapple shape is like a cartoon drawing of pineapple fruit.
While my sister said Choco Captain is a bit weird looking ice cream, I feel kinda cool. Perhaps because I like weird things 😛.
Other than having an identical shape like real corn, the Sweet Corn ice cream taste and fragrant is pretty similar like sweet corn.
As a pineapple fruits fans, I like Cool Pineapple because it has sweet and sour taste.
Vanilla Milkshake taste is so so for me, so you might want to skip this unless you like vanilla so much.
Overall I am amazed with Joyday Ice Cream creativity to make these interesting looking ice creams.
